Scholarships

Applications for scholarships are available by clicking on the link below, in the main office, and in Shared Documents on the Hinds Site. All completed scholarship applications are to be submitted to the Career Center Director on or before the due date on the application.

Scholarships Available
Joseph and Ellen St. Clair Scholarship
Any HCC senior who plans to pursue post-secondary education is eligible. Selection is made according to Madison County Community Foundation scholarship selection criteria.
The MCCF form must be used. DUE FEB. 26, 2015
Value- dependent upon trust funds
VFW Scholarship
Any HCC senior planning to purse post-secondary education is eligible for the scholarship. Selection is made by a VFW committee.
Value- $400
Dan Rayshich Scholarship
Any HCC senior who plans to pursue post-secondary education are eligible. Selection is made according to HCC scholarship selection criteria.
Value- dependent upon trust funds
George & Doris Kintzel Memorial Scholarship
Elwood Community High School seniors enrolled in a HCC program with plans to pursue post-secondary education at a 2 or 4 year accredited institution are eligible. Selection is made according to Madison County Community Foundation scholarship selection criteria.
The MCCF form must be used.

Hinds Career Center Scholarship

Any HCC senior planning to purse post-secondary education is eligible for the scholarship. Selection is made according to HCC scholarship selection criteria.
Value- $500
James Fouch Scholarship
Elwood Community High School seniors enrolled in a HCC program with plans to pursue post-secondary education in a career-technical field are eligible. Selection is made by the Elwood High School Alumni Association Scholarship Committee. Announcement of the recipient(s) is made at the Elwood High School awards night program.
Value- dependent upon trust funds
Therese Fouch Scholarship
Elwood Community High School seniors enrolled in a HCC program with plans to pursue post-secondary education in a career-technical field are eligible. Selection is made by the Elwood High School Alumni Association Scholarship Committee. Announcement of the recipient(s) is made at the Elwood High School awards night program.

Edna Maley Career-Technical Scholarships
Elwood Community High School seniors enrolled in a HCC program with plans to pursue post-secondary education in a career-technical field are eligible. Selection is made by the Elwood High School Alumni Association Scholarship Committee. Announcement of the recipient(s) is made at the Elwood High School awards night program.

Associated Scholarships
Indiana Elks Career-Technical Grant
Any HCC senior who plans to pursue a two-year or less career-technical program culminating in an Associate Degree, Diploma, or Certificate, but less than a Bachelor’s degree is eligible. The Elks form must be used. Applications MUST be received by January 20th. Selection is made by the Indiana Elks Association.
Value- $700-$1000
IVY Tech Community College Scholarship
Any HCC senior enrolling in IVY Tech Community College is eligible. The Ivy Tech Community College scholarship application form must be used. Applications MUST be received by March 30th.
Value- up to full tuition
